10 commandments of listening

• Stop talking .. You cannot listen while talking
• Give the speaker the chance to speak
• Listen to perceive .. Not to object (Listen to understand not to react)
• Do not interrupt the speaker
• Put yourself in the speaker's boots.. This will help you assess the situation
• Be patient .. Give the speaker enough time
• Keep calm .. Angry people will look for mistakes
• Don't argue .. Be open and accept criticism
• Ask questions .. This shows interest and provides clarification
• Avoid prejudice..

నేస్తమా!
నీవు నాతో లేని క్షణం కాలమే కదలటం ఆపేసింది
నీ ఆలోచనల వేడికి నా తల పగిలిపోతుంది
నీవు లేని శూన్యంలో నీకోసం వెదుకుతున్నాను
ఎలా వున్నావు నా ప్రాణమా!
నిన్ను చూసిన ఆఖరి చూపు ఇంకా నన్ను వదిలిపోలేదు
గుర్తుచేస్తుంది ప్రతిక్షణం నీరూపం!
చల్లని వెన్నెల చినుకులు నన్ను తాకినప్పుడు
అది నీ తీపి గురుతుల జల్లెమోనని భ్రమించాను చెలీ..
సుదూరతీరాల నుండి నను స్పర్శించే గాలిని గమనించి
అది నీ సంకేతాల వుపిరేమోనని మోసపోయాను.
నా హృదయంలొ పడిలేస్తున్న ఎన్నో తరంగాలు
పంపుతున్నాయి నీకు ఎన్నెన్నో సందేశాలు
చేరటంలేదు కదూ అవేవి నీకు ఎందుకంటే
ఆ గుసగుసలు గొంతుదాటి అసలు బయటకు వస్తే గదా!
నీకోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్న ప్రతిక్షణం
అనిపిస్తుంది మరణసమయంలో మృత్యుఘడియలా
నా మనస్సు ఎప్పుడో స్పందించటం మానేసింది.
